Take it to the Limit with Connecticut's Classic Rock Band

“I’m proud and honored to play with four superior musicians and great friends...” — Mike Bell

Steve Belli, Lead Singer

Hi everyone! I'm Steve Belli.

I guess you could say I started singing to my mom's old 45's. I grew up dreaming of one day being the big lead singer and living the rock and roll lifestyle like my idols in Journey, Loverboy, Cheap Trick and more...

But duty called and the military lifestyle hooked me instead. While serving six years in the U.S. Air Force, I did my first real singing in my base's talent contest. This led to my opportunity to tour the country, performing at Air Bases from North Dakata to Louisiana and all over the West Coast.

After returning to Connecticut in '89 and over the past 20 years, I have performed in wedding bands, done acapella work, and even landed a small role in a Broadyway musical. But I craved one more thing... to be a lead singer for a classic 70's and 80's rock band. Now I am livin' the dream... I get to play the part of a ‘rock star,’ thanks to my band mates in RedZone. I hope our fans enjoy the sounds that we have put together and, hopefully, we can bring back some great memories for everyone.

I can say that most of my dreams have come true; I have a great family, great career, and—on weekends—I'm the ‘rock star’ I always dreamed about. Don't stop believin'!

George

Hello all! I'm George Vee.

From the popular 80’s classic Connecticut rock band Cheers to the versatile Countdown top 40 band of the 90’s, I have been "at home" on stage—pleasing audiences of all ages.

The first band I was ever in was called Firelight Five at the age of 15, and I have been performing professionally ever since (that’s over 30 years and counting, though I don’t look a day over 25 - wink, wink).

Teaching music to children and adults alike is my full time calling, but my passion for live performance drives my soul.  I have written and recorded several original songs through the years, including Whenever You Are Near, Angel, and Survive, and I'm currently pursuing a recording contract.

RedZone is a combination of highly talented and experienced musicians who truly allow me to showcase my best.  I feel privileged to share the stage with my good friends.

P.S.  Adopt a pet today — your love will be reciprocated in spades!

Mike Bell, Lead Guitarist

That's me! I'm Mike Bell!

I have been playing lead guitar and singing lead and backup vocals for 35 years in area rock bands.

I like to play all types of Classic Rock, from Queen to Journey to REO Speedwagon.

In my High School 70’s I played in the rock band Promise and attended classes at Connecticut's Hartt School of Music. In the 80’s I was in the rock band Cheers, and in the 90’s and early 2000’s, the Connecticut hard rock band Tremperdrive.

Then I took some much needed time off and now I’m back in the saddle with RedZone. I’m proud and honored to play with four superior musicians and great friends on this must-come-see project. When I’m not playing, I enjoy riding my Harley.

Eddie Soderlund, Drums

Hi—I'm Eddie Soderlund!

I started playing drums when I was 5 years old, (my mother found  me using her pots and pans as drums. I then received my first drum set and the rest is history).  Music has been a huge part of my life and always will be.  I have been in various bands throughout my life, starting in my teenage years to most recently with Train Wreck Society and TremperDrive.

I enjoy listening to and playing various types of music.

I am very proud to be in a band with four remarkable musicians and look forward to my future with the RedZone crew.  Come out and Rock with us!

Bernie Costa, Bass Guitar

And I'm Bernie Costa!

I started playing the guitar when I was 15.

I had a friend who got me into almost everything.  One day his cousin came over with a guitar and amp — we both thought it was so cool. Anyway, I started taking lessons and playing.

I played in a few bands in high school, then a few more later on, but it wasn't easy finding positions as a guitar player. There were a lot — and still are — more guitar players than bass, keyboards, and even drummers. I finally switched to playing Bass, and I found that I had even more of a knack for Bass than guitar.

I jumped at the chance to join up with Steve, George, Mike and Eddie to form Connecticut's hottest new rock band, RedZone.  You can't go wrong when you bring together talented musicians who are also great friends. Hope you like the music!
